Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Yep good luck to the lad..hopefully things will work out for him..always thought he was a steady pair of hands that didn't deserve the flack that was thrown his way.

Always liked Willo both as a person and a player. The stick he got at the Keepmoat was mostly unwarranted and totally unnecessary.
Frankly I'm surprised he stayed on as long as he did with all that shite..........best of luck Willo and I'm sure the fans at Oxford will give you the respect your commitment deserves unlike our lot. Sad

I certainly hope so Askern , a great ambassador for our club unlike a good few of our supporters who belittled and bood him to ridiculous extremes.

Trouble is he didn't make a meal out of doing things

Good, solid, usaually there if needed, nothing flash like taking on 12 players and then going back round a couple of them for good measure and hammering into the top left, now unless you do that you are not a good player well according to some on the vsc Smile

I did read vsc forum for long time but I not vsc member or never post there. Fans always moan about what awful player Mark Wilson is but not only Mark Wilson & fans always moan about everything at club & other things!

Although he sounded like a decent guy, he was an awful footballer in my opinion. I think he's probably found his level at L2 so good luck to him and I can't fault him for lack of effort at DRFC.
