Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

The welsh are in town this weekend, i hate the welsh! I also think that this will be the 3 points we need just to ease all our minds. It'll be a tough match but i can see a Barnsley win. In fact i would go as far as to say we will win both our last home matches so Brighton can watch out too!

Going to cardiff changed my mind about the welsh...found them very nice and polite..also found them ok when they have visited the Keepmoat...now if it was the Scots you were talking about.. Laughing

True always had a laugh with both the Cardiff and Swansea lot both there and their visits to us.

Understand there's a fair bit of friction between the Dingles and the Cardiff lot though, someone care to explain why ?

Barnsley and Cardiff have always had problems, dunt know exactly where it stems from but i remember the season they showed in town and barnsley lot got locked in a pub by the police which they set on fire so they would be let out to the Cardiff lot. Loads of trouble that day it was like a war zone after the match. Then Barnsley lot turned up at Cardiff very early on which was not expected and another day of trouble between the two sets of fans commenced!! Since then it's always been a bit of a tense affair!!

Wow... I never heard about that?


..I suppose the tension between us and Cardiff fans could also be something to do with the fact that they spat on our fans from balconys at Wembley when they beat us in the FA Cup 2008 Semi-Final... One of them nearly hit me.
