Haven't seen the highlights yet, and while credit must go to Tottenham, I'm assuming that Wigan were guilty of some awful defending? To concede 9 goals at any professional level is simply not acceptable.

Saw some of the Goals on Match of the Day tonight and as you say Wigans defending was very poor to say the least, the day goes to Defoe though bet he is one happy lad.. Bloody hell spurs beat wigan 9-1 Icon_biggrin

Why can they never make it to a double figured result? I'm referring to every team in England here, they make it to nine goals but then don't get another to complete it?

Or is it just me who wants to see a double figured result happen in the english leagues in my lifetime?

What's scary is that Tottenham must have missed 4 great chances in the first half, it could have been so much worse.

Also Kirkland was MoM IMO.

I wouldn't mind a double figure scoreline, just as long as it doesn't happen to us.
