Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Holkham is just up the road from me, it's where the royals go when they want to build sand castles, also has norfolks only nudist beach, although I doubt if Liz and phill go there................... lol

I remember years ago a similar thing happend on our beach, but with jellyfish.. Totally gross, was like looking at a giants bogey trail.............

I go with the fishing theory..we have so many on the wash. Global warming is a load of horlics.. tbh, the idea that the most miniscule dot of time that constutes our records is in anyway indicative of the life cycle of our planet is...egotistical at best, daft at worst.

As we have only just emerged from the latest of a series of 'mini ice ages' it would stand to reason that the earth would be warming up slightly.

Human beings have too much self importance I think.
Sometimes nature is just playing it's part in the evolutionary process.

Now now Yorkie don't go getting too excited, I'm sure there are still people out there who will tell you off for it. Personally, I'm off the same mind. I don't mind doing a bit of recycling and using less bags etc, but really what are we going to do that will make such a massive difference? I might be being naive but I don't think a bit of recycling is going to stop global warming somehow.
