Big Clear out
at Boro next week according to fmttm site.
Some of the stories are true, especially about some of the young players being told to look for clubs.
Most of the current 3rd year accademy lads have been told they are either not good enough or dont show enough commitment. All parents and agents have been in to see wee ginger and told the bad news.
Lad I know is currently at Grimsby on trial to see if they want him on loan.

Re: Big Clear out
I think he will be clearing the decks and cutting the wage bill to get some new blood in during the January Transfer window.
Let's face it we need a good shake up at the club and hopefully Strachan will be the guy to Kick start the season.
Many of the young players have not improved as we thought they would and would benefit from a change of club.

Looks like you're settling for financial stability in the CCC and giving up on promotion. A sensible move to do so when so much carnage will occur over the next few years in football. Sheff United have done the same over the past two years and will be the better for it too, I reckon they will still go up this season and will not cut their throats when they go up. Wolves are the ideal model to follow, and you have the manager for it now.

don't know so much about giving up on promotion but that could be a side effect of the changes taking place at the club.
Totally aggree that football is being ruined by the money needed in the premier. One day soon a club is going to go to the wall because of the money needed to compete in this league, Probably Pompey are the nearest at the moment.

I concur and it would be a very sensible move bearing in mind the current economic state of the game. Southampton and Derby were perfect examples of clubs failing to take such measures.
