Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Thanks to everyone for joining hopefully we will get a fair few users over the coming weeks
would you all do mi a favour and let all your friends know about this forum and if possible bump the thread where you found out about this place, on Saturday afternoon when you get home from the game as that's when most users are on line .

You wont have to wait untill the end of the season if the forum takes off in the coming weeks i will be expanding it to all Yorkshire and all 4 divisions. and renaming the place " THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE " the reason i have started it as just championship is because ive never done anything like this before and i'm trying to cut my teeth in a small way first
and hopefully some of you lot will become mods and help me run the site before we expand if it takes off .

Basically a moderator is somebody who watches threads and keeps it clean, and should have access to all posts so they will be able to delete inapropriate things Very Happy Tbh you just have to be trusted to do what you should be doing !

Common privileges of moderators include: deleting, merging, moving, and splitting of posts and threads; locking, renaming, stickying of threads; banning, unbanning, warning the members; or adding, editing, removing the polls of threads ( from Wikipedia )

Why can't I start a thread in the Wednesday section? It says only administrators can post there. Looks like i'm answering my own question here, what I mean is why is it only for administrators?
