Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

The nerves are getting seriously frayed over there, I like the (relative) peace and quiet in here.

Back on the subject of Owlstalk, the site owner has posted saying that, once again, but in a completely unrelated matter, the site has been threatened with legal action by a party unnamed. Apparently the unrest is regarding some of the stuff that has been posted regarding potential investment, and documents which may have been leaked. Not sure if this means we are close to investment, or as far away as ever. More information due shortly.

Legal action against their own fans is the last thing that the Wendies need. That is a great way to sell your club to investors! Mind you, the site mods should be stamping on stuff like that immediately, and the rest of them ought to have enough sense to see that.

Just to clarify Yorks, last time out it was the club taking legal action against fans, this time it is not. It would appear that it may in fact be an interested party that is trying to keep a low profile. Certainly the leaking of documents from Inner Circle seems suspect, and Owlstalk are rightly uneasy at the prospect of anymore appearing.
