The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

And that's us level on points with your lot. Didn't see that coming, did you? (In fairness neither did I! Laughing )

Gutted I couldn't get down the road for this one, but I'm told it was another hard-working performance of the sort that Irvine promised. Not the prettiest, but given where we were when he arrived, survival had to be the main priority, by any means! First clean sheet since he arrived too, and we only allowed Blackpool a single shot on goal tonight, very pleasing.

Games in hand ain't points until they're points. And you probably won't have to wait until next week to rectify that...we're at West Brom on Saturday. Crying or Very sad

But we'll be right there with you again come Tuesday night. Cool

It's shaping up to be a close one, that is for sure. I have Hoola's number, just make sure he's coherent enough to read his text messages. Laughing

I hadn't banked on that. That said, if they're as rotten as they were tonight, then you've got every chance of getting something.

Regarding next week's game, I usually drink in the New Barrack Tavern on Penistone Road. Good beer, and a friendly atmosphere, no problems for you fellas with your colours on or anything like that. I'm pretty much free from 4pm. Don't know what time you guys are thinking of, but if you're getting the tram to S6 Brian, and you fancy the Barracks, then get off the tram at Langsett Rd/Primrose View. I can meet you there, and we can take the shortcut through to Penistone Road from there.
