The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

What's still galling is we put the work into him and we get nowt. Potential International and Prem. player and he didn't reward us with so much as a discussion on his intentions and what we might have been able to do for him...........JR must be seething!
He is nowhere near the player he was for us you are right there. Sad Sad Sad

1.5 MILLION.
(Not worth that at 27)
A very average player now imo and would struggle to get into our team.

If he is valued at 1.5 M now i cant imagine what he would be worth with 2 years of coaching here.

Such a shame as we brought that lad up,Paul Green will always be a legend but never as high as coppinger in my opinion.

Green moved on at the first sight of money and it hardly payed off.
Whereas Coppinger said no to wba last summer. always wears his hard on his sleeve does our jamie.

He had the chance for a new contract, a massive testimonial tax free but chose not to have the decency to discuss it with those that gave him all that help.
Sorry no longer a legend for me, though I loved to watch the lad play.........good luck to this Derby player.

Well yeah i suppose your right.
Coppinger is much more of a better player than me and i WOULD NOT have green back in the rovers team.
Much rather have Oster.

Anyway time for bed. need my sleep.
