BUZZING
After our recent indifferent (crap) form, we turn in an excellent away performance & deservedly lead 1-0 going into Wednesday's second leg.
Not that I think it's all over, not by any means, but if Sharps, Fenton, & Gunning turn in another outstanding display as they did this afternoon, Wembley could well be on the horizon.
Although the Shots had more posession & shots on goal, I think we had the best chances, with Gunning choosing to try & win a penalty instead of shooting in the first half, & Ryan Taylor heading wide when it seemed easier to score in the second before ALF took advantage of a bad backpass & expertly finished to give us a vital lead!!!

Re: Shots v Millers
I think its very, very unfair to judge a player on one game. Personally, I think if ALF were to move to Oakwell, he IS good enough to score at least 15 goals in the Championship. The guy is a GOALSCORER first & foremost, a poacher. Agreed, he doesn't contribute much more, but if he gets two chances in a game, he'll take at least one.
In response to the " I wouldn't want to watch this week in, week out" jibe. I support a League 2 club, so i'm stuck with it for now, & Rovers fans must have very short memories, for it wasn't so long ago, that their fans were having to "endure" Conference football week in, week out. It's all to do with being a fan!!!!

Re: Shots v Millers
You obviously dont watch much championship football mate,i would be prepared to put my money where my mouth is and say he wouldnt get 15 goals in the championship.
The defenders are off a much higher and i do think it would suprise adam how much of a gulf of class is in the championship and for what its worth i have seen him 6 times this season and he has not impressed.
Anyway in the championship you cannot afford to only take 1 of your 2 chances as you need to take all the chances you get infact its rare you get 2 chances in a game.
The gulf of class would hit him right on the head and he would struggle,he isnt worth a 600k gamble nevermind 750-1mill.
keep your money in your pocket championship clubs, too much off a risk.
Oh and yes we were watching conference football not long ago but as you say its all to do with being a fan and if im honest I WOULD PREFER not to watch it week in week out as the standard is poor.
