Was an aweful match tonight and probably worst i've seen us play since the 4-0 drubbing at home to sheffield Wednesday 5 years ago,but look at the positive side we're doing alot better than last season. We are 3 points better off and we've only lost 2 games and at this time last season we lost 5 already so things aint that bad when you look at it Smile

You are right in what you say Matty, on reflection i think we need to remember that we were probably now into our long run of defeats this time last season and that was with a fully fit squad, including Stock, Wellens and Mills, a year ago we would probably have lost this match but we didn't and that was with a patched up squad, you can only play the hand your dealt , yes he could have played O Connor for Chambers but is O Connor 100% fit i'm not sure, i would have played Fairhurst for Hayter as he had a poor game last night but lets remember that he was doing ok in previous games and is a very expierienced player, Sod played the strongest hand he had available to him, and against a swansea side that on reflection were better then us last night ( Just ) what more could he have done with the players he had available. So on reflection i am going to end this post with a smiling smilie, on towards Saturday now and 3 points against the Hoofballers... Very Happy

He still will not play Heffernan no matter how bad Hayter is. Same sort of stubborness until he had no choice last season. Not that it would have made any difference anyway. The midfield was so poor it was unbelievable. Chambers has to get dropped for Saturday, poor in defence and seemed a bit clueless going forward, Jimmy will make a big difference. Hayter should play midfield, that's where he always plays even if he is supposed to be up front and they should then put Spicer on the bench to think about what he is doing before he plays again! I just hope that they put up a better show against the Blades on Saturday, or else we are going to be steamrollered.

Heffs finished last season on a roll, scoring for fun which really can be said for hayter as well, there really does seem to be a problem between Sod and Heffs not sure what it is but given the chance he will score goals which is what its all about, hes just not given the chances, its a crying shame and feel sorry for him, really don't understand why he still wants to be here, its a bit like the Billy Sharp scenario at Utd a good player just not been used. Crying or Very sad
