ANDY KEOGH
Official now we are looking at him.
Doncaster Rovers eye loan deal for Wolves Andy Keogh
Doncaster Rovers have made an informal enquiry to Premier League Wolves to see if Andy Keogh is available on loan reports BBC Radio Sheffield.
After breaking their record transfer fee to sign Billy Sharp, Rovers now want to sign his former team-mate.
Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll said: "To put Andy and Billy together again is something to consider.
"You talk to a lot of clubs about players without making a concrete offer and we have done that with Andy Keogh."
The Republic of Ireland international made 15 appearances for Wolves in the Premier League last season, but it thought to want regular first-team football.
"It will all depend on what Andy's situation is with Wolves. He knows a lot of our players and he is certainly someone who interests us."
Meanwhile, Sharp, who played alongside Keogh at Scunthorpe United, has spoken to his former strike partner about the possibility of the pair being reunited at the Keepmoat Stadium this season.
"Keogh is one of my good mates. He has mentioned it to me, he wants to play football like me and Doncaster are interested in him," said Sharp.
"I think if Mick McCarthy would let him go out on loan then he will come here. If he does come here then it would be a brilliant addition to the squad."

Maybe a years loan deal with a view to buy after that, what i don't understand is if Billy was paid for with funds that were nothing to do with Sods transfer budget then are we using that to fund loan deals, must be good players we are getting if it is..

Re: ANDY KEOGH
According to the Wolves website Keogh joined them in Jan 2007 on a 3 and a half year deal. So, unless my maths is wrong, or he has extended his initial contract and the site has not been updated, he is surely available on a free transfer?
