Cant be too gutted after first game, some negatives but some positives aswell. Defence was hopeless. Would want to try Bruce and Bromby for Lincoln game. Nigyl Clough what an utter tit ""The result didn't give me any special satisfaction because of my dad's time at Leeds. I felt more pressure because they wouldn't let my son walk on the pitch an hour and a half before the kick-off. Apparently it was a club rule." Diddums

Savage you maybe a be a dickhead, but upmost respect for him offering a disbaled fan tickets for the game at Pride Park who missed out on some yesterday. Respec t to Rob Hulse aswell, just shows you certainly never forget your time here, came up after the game to clap the gelderd aswell

Definetly need a holding midfilder in and a striker depending on Paynters injury

Could of easily been 38.000 if bates priced it properly, why do they need so much segregation aswell. Could of easily got another couple of hundred in the cheaper stand

Schmeichel - 9- Amazing double save, quality distribution and sure has got a cracking HOOF on him
Connolly - 6 - Good going forward, gave ball away bit too much
Naylor - 6 - Did well in the air, but just seemed slow, reminded me of a tank way he turned. He did look to pick up a bad injury against Wolves
Collins - 7 - Seemed to get alot of stick, i thought he was pretty solid. Just his positional sense is abit off
Bessone - 5 - Poor, hope he'll improve
Sam - 6.5 - Good runs, quality tackle which resulted in a pen. Shouldn't of had to make the tackle in the first place. Defence was all over shop
Johnson 5.5- Tried hard but a poor game overall imo, shots from all over the place got frustrating
Howson - 8- Probably best i've ever seen Howson play, proper hope he can keep that up. Probably to blame for the first goal but definetly made up for it
Kilkenny - 7 - As per, knocked the ball around nicely
Watt - 7 - Not a bad game, but was constantly given impossible balls to chase
Becchio - 7 - Good effort, took his chance well. Amount of noticed fouls on him was unreal

I thought it'd be a better standard of reffing in this league. Good performance considering who we had out

TBH i thought it was a game of 2 poor teams that will finish in the lower regions at best. Neither can keep the ball and both have shocking defenses. The only difference was that Derby had more of a cutting edge and if it wasn't for Schmeichel would have won by 4 or 5.
You said that's the best Howson has played? He must be bad then because after creating your goal he did nothing and let a 36 year old with no legs command the midfield.
I think all 3 teams that came up will struggle and do well to stay up tbh, yes millwall had a great win but it was against a bristol team with 7 regulars missing, Norwich & Leeds both looked out of their depth against poor championship sides.

Definetly reckon if we had Gradel, Paynter, Snodgrass, Kisnorbo availble it would of been a much different game. Its obvious we miss Kisnorbo and Gradel, never seen anyone or anything get past Kisnorbo and is a proper leader. Howson held the ball up well and with Kilkenny was knocking it about nicely and yeh he was gash for the most part of last season.

Saying that about Schmeichal, could easily say the same about them, hit the bar/post twice and a header Bywater was rooted to ground for cleared off the line, dont mean to make them sound like excuses but am sure Derby would be saying the same (would of won if they dint have Kasper) if those chances did go in.

You can never look too much in the opening day, especially with 4 of who imo are top players for the championship out
