Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Feel sorry for him but the bigger bummer concerns our own injured players before the 'derby' game! Sad Sad

Of course our injury crisis is of major concern but there are plenty of other threads about that (and anyway there's at least one on the list of injured players you said is 'crap' anyway Shocked tongue )

I'm gutted for Sean, was always my favourite player when here, and he was so optimistic for the future a couple of weeks ago when I spoke to him at Carlisle. The nicest Rover/ex-Rover I have ever met and to see his career stall again through no fault of his own when idiots like Rooney and Carroll make fools of themselves and the Premier league makes you think life can be very unfair

Upset you again eh..................... Razz
You know my thoughts on Sean, might help if you read the sentiment behind my thread i.e. the concern for tomorrow rather than trying to reading something into my post that wasn't intended . I'm gutted for Sean too. Sad
I don't want even 'crap' players of ours to be injured either, btw which one are you referring to ?
Seems I get under your skin these days without even trying. Sad Sad

OK truce with Hoola

On a rather more sobering note its not good news for Sean by the sounds of things.

Here

Maybe some of our premiership high fliers need to see how easy it can all come crashing down before they demand stupid money?

No need for a truce Vix btw.
Sean has shown what most if not all of us knew that he is both a very decent lad and a good if not very good player. One I believe should never have left our club.
In the light of the 'Rooney saga', it restores your faith in footy when you see such an attitude from such a 'man', I use the word deliberately when comparing him and others to the likes of the whigeing, greedy Prem. players and for that matter some of the 2nd. tier players.
The manager and supporters at Carlisle obviously recognise the 'all-round' qualities of both the man and the player that is .....OUR Sean.
Come on Sean .................you can come back with that attitude .
