Sean Mcdaid
Sean has today retired from the game due to the knee injury that has been plauging him since he left us, real shame was a great player when he was with us and brings to an end a promising career...

All the best for the future Sean............a player who always gave 100 % and a great fella too. Extremely unlucky though.

Re: Sean Mcdaid
If I'm really honest this doesn't surprise me. After the injury happened the interviews indicated it could be a career ending injury but I'm gutted for him. I've never met a nicer or more genuine person and will always remember meeting him at Carlisle the week before the injury happened. He was so happy and positive about his future and I hope he is as successful in his future career as he was as a footballer. Its not all about playing at the highest level but about being a credit to your profession at any level and Sean certainly was that
Even if he is a Leeds fan and was trying not to take the mess out of me when talking about the Doncaster-Leeds game at the Keepmoat

Re: Sean Mcdaid
A couple of things really struck me, one, this happening around him becoming a dad for the first time which is so sad, two that it was totally unconnected to the injury that kept him out all that time with us and finally
Maybe that should be stuck on the walls of some premiership and International players' changing rooms?
The lads who don’t appreciate the game, more fool them. You’re only a minute away from never playing again.”

I couldn't agree more, perhaps if we're really lucky he will come back and work for us in some capacity...........all the best for the future Sean.

Yeah not bad, carlisle dominated the first half , Brentford came back in the second but Carlisle won by a goal scored in the first 10 minuites and held on...

Re: Sean Mcdaid
Great to see him there and I thought it a really nice gesture of his team mates to let him go in front of them behind the captain and goalkeeper
It was a decent match, maybe lacking in some quality but much better than the crap thats the Prem
