Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Yeah i went,

First half we were great both in midfield and going forward. Scored 3 good goals. We were in control up until the sending off in the 70th min. That obviously changed the game. We then took off a striker for a midfielder and sat back ant peterborough scored almost immediately. They got another soon after which prompted us to go on the attack and in the last minute sent weaver up for a corner only for Peterborough to clear and score into an empty net.

I think 5-3 flattered them very much and have no doubt in my mind we would have won with 11 as we were in control throughout the game but thats football for you!

Im not too disappointed with this result because if we play like we did on saturday I can see us winning by a few games. A lot of positives to take after a dire fun of form.

Unfortunately some of your impatient morons are calling for AI's head stupidly! Do they not realise that Posh probably have the best strikers in your Division ?
Posh are renowned for free scoring and poor defending, after the sending off ; you were on a hiding to nothing. They should give AI more time imo and get behind your team, heis methodical, proven and needs time to integrate your new players into his desired system ; I hope Mandaric holds his nerve as I fear you will regret sacking him for a long long time.
Sometimes head has to rule heart even for you piggies . Wink
