Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Just taken from the VSC from GARTOM. Is this the idea that Brian Armitage suggested at 1 of the Fans Forum


Hi All,

Rovers are looking at a loyalty card scheme and want to test market the idea - so are asking for volunteers to help research the idea.....Message from Shaun at DRFC reads:


We’re in the process of setting up a loyalty card scheme for next season, the scheme will operate on a points per £1 spent basis and reward customer spend.


Rather than roll out across the entire fanbase in one go, we’ve decided that we want to set up a pilot scheme for the 2011/12 season thus allowing us to identify any pros and cons of the scheme for both club and fans and iron out any potential teething problems. Should the pilot work well we will then look to roll out fully in 2012/13.


We’re looking for approximately 100 people to take part in the pilot scheme during next season and we’ve already started asking for people who might be interested.
We wondered if the VSc have any willing volunteers?, if so if you could ask them to e-mail marketing@doncasterroversfc.co.uk with their name, address and contact number it would be most appreciated.

Please contact Shaun direct and lets see how we get on!
