Aye but we still won
Surely there should be some sort of backup stadium if a team get through and its one of the finalists home grounds it couldn't be that hard to sort out.
Anyway well done Chelski

Btw WW2 was a very close run thing had those clever Krauts sorted their atomic bomb out then we could have been toast!

I thought the major reason they lost was because the Krauts thought they could camp in russian winter but the russians was more used to fighting in the winter weather something like that anyway

True , the same mistake that Napolean made but beink 'nuked' wouldn't have helped .........they weren't that far away but for Hitler's ego and went on to sort out the Americans advancements in nuclear physics.
Quite simply they did stretch themselves out far too thinly and losing more than a million men and equipment to the Russian winter made it impossible to continue to effectively fight on so many fronts. That they even managed to sustain their war effort for so long was both a testament to their race and a damning indictment on how they managed to sustain such a war machine based on slave labour.
''Arbeit macht frei'' was definitely one of the biggest contradictions of all time.

Re: first world war 1
Basically he fought a war on two fronts...if he had invaded Britain in 1940 then the americans would never have entered the war as he would have beaten us...he would then have moved onto the Russians basically fighting them alone and would have beat them as well...also he spent too much time rounding up Jews..doing that tied up alot of his troops...

That about sums it up had it not been for vanity and dogma ...........they would have had it all sewn up in 2/3 years. Thank God they never gave up on the Jewish, Gypsy and anti-Stalin mentality ; sadly as it seems those distractions saved the world from ultimate German and Japanese control.
Ironically they both went on to influence the economy of the world from the mid 50's to the late 80's.

Re: first world war 1
As Hoola says the biggest problem they had was trying to fight on two fronts
a bit like Platini/Blatter conspiring against us and throw in a "home draw" for the other finalists just for good measure
Well me old sunshines it didn't work then and it don't work now
