Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

I'm concerned that once again we think we are better than we quite patently are not. Most agree that we were eventually thrashed out of sight by a one-man team and that's not good enough.

I thought England team not good enough in Sweden and I am disappointed but I am really hope new national centre will be key to England winning world cup in future and I hope facility will help them.

I'm sure theres summit i'm missing but I don't get how nicer pitches will get us playing better if the coaching is the same? It's grass roots football that needs changing imo don't know about round your ends but sunday league football round here is on its arse.

I think it's pretty healthy around here and for that matter at all levels in the Rovers teams. The future is brighter now for our club. However we do need to get coaching sorted out in this country and what's more we do need to keep these lads feet firmly on the ground. Currently they are all trying to run before they can crawl and we have to teach them to have the right attitudes to the game, supporters and money (where it comes from i.e. US) from the start.
