Re: Saunders Plans Swoop
It is in The Sun though, which does not necessarily mean it is gospel. If it were true, then £500,000 would be a good return for a player that we got on a free - although I would hope that we would play hard ball and squeeze them for a little more. However, at the end of the day we are a small club and will always find it hard to reject advances for our better players. It would be great if we could resist though - at least until the end of the season.

This always happens when a manager leaves, however this could ( if true) derail our promotion push. Cotts is that important to us at the moment!
I agree that £500, 000 is simply not enough for a player who has clearly rediscovered his best form.

500k is the starting bid, right? Mind you, we do get robbed with transfers!
It's an easy transfer story really ain't it... Ex-manager interested in his former clubs star player shocker!
EDIT: I'll allow him to leave for 1 million, aslong as he leaves his wife to me.

No clause in the deal to stop Mr Saunders coming back and robbing the crown jewels
Hope JR plays hard-ball on this one or gets £1m for him
At least we've got Copps to fill in on the right if it happens, but what worries me more is who we are left with to play on the left........................ Master Bennett not doing it for me.
