Well January is not too far away so who do we think will stay or go in the transfer window, for me i think we will have done brilliantly if Billy stays till at least the end of the season, there have been the rumours about Stock but i can see him staying and i think we will persuade Wolves to let us hang on to Shackell, if anyone goes i think it will be Elliott not really sure what went wrong there but i see his time as a Rover coming to an end, other then that i can't see much happening.

What about Oster, can you see him staying, can you really see him getting rid of Guy, not sure if Heffs will go , probably depends on what happens with Billy.

Both Oster and O'Driscoll said they were going to try and work something out so I think he'll stay. Fortune may go as I don't think we're getting enough out of him to justify his wages

In
Shackell on an loan extension
Gillett

Out
Elliott
Fortune
Heffernan (even if its only a loan extension)

To be honest if we can keep the nucleus of the team we have now (including Billy of course Wink ) I don't see the need for too much activity

No me neither. I just don't get this thing people have against Wilson. He was solid yesterday and if Bywater hadn't (miraculously) saved that shot, Wilson would be a hero today

Quite right Vix, He did his usual reliable but not spectacu;ar role yesterday, damn good volley though! Is Elliot's contract up? If so he will be released, otherwise he will be at Rovers until the summer, Guy will go then as well, Heffs will be on extended loan or Oldham might buy for a nominal fee (out of contract in the summer).
In will definitely be Oster he has been talking contracts with Rovers for a bit now, Fortune will stay if he wants, Shackell will be on extended loan, Gillet will sign and that will be it.
We will have three new players in the new year though, a revamped Stock all guns firing, McDaid who can do Gillets role if needs be and the man who will cost Brian a large bottle of whisky, Steve Brooker. Laughing Laughing Laughing :afro:

The other surprise options for in could be Kienast or Simunovic of course. But their signing may well be postponed until summer now considering Bs's decision about staying until the end of the season.

I am salivating at the very thought of a Brooker /Sharp combo, I hope a) it happens and b) it works.
As for my transfers in and out's , I agree very much with Vix on this one with a possible surprise and I hope it's not a nasty one.

It was me who asked them about Brooker and he said he has had a minor set back but is still on corse for early new year. The thing is he as been out so long things will slow him dowm a bit. We just need to hope its only minor things.
