Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

The new football programme featuring all the local sides from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire oh and Chesterfield starts on BBC1 tonight at 11.15pm, hopefully this will allow us to get more coverage then the Saturday night League programme, this one is presented by. Guy Mowbray.

It took the show about 30 seconds to mention the "Leeds Glory Days" Laughing I didn't think they'd crowbar it in that quickly, fair play to them

Ours is done by clem 'whatisname'. Started of this week with an interview with Gareth Southgate.

just waiting for it to be highjacked by all the Geordie lovers. It'll be another wankfest for them.

Thats the problem with programmes like that, they are always taken over by the local top teams and other teams just get a brief mention.

Next week they are concentrating on League 2 teams. Good, they need a bit of media coverage.

Thats true, the smaller clubs will benefit most from the media attention so I hope they follow what they say.

My only problem with it is that once again they put it on a silly time, oh well will just have to keep recording it and watching it the next day, enjoyed the programme overall.
