The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

This is an interesting one. Personally, I think assisted suicide can be the best option but people have to agree to it and there has to be rules regarding what can happen. I know some people will disagree with me but I believe there are far more assisted suicides that we don't know about. I wonder what the outcome of all this will be.

Its a tricky one becauce he did not come forward straight after the crime, he has committed Murder no matter what the circumstances, he should have kept quiet which like you say most people probably do in such cases, it does beggar the question though when the person in question was found dead was there no postmortem carried out to discover that he had been smothered.. scratch scratch

Apparently not Yorkie. I get the feeling that if people are seriously ill most people just accept they have died from natural causes and they don't worry about a postmortem.

I think a postmortem is only if they haven't seen a doctor within a specific period (3 weeks?) before death or if there are 'suspicious' circumstances. As he was in hospital and terminally ill it would not have been deemed necessary.

At least this is how I understood it in care work.

I think it is something like that. If you have seen a doctor it implies that you are ill therefore there is no need to do a postmortem unless like you said it's under suspicious circumstances. I'm sure there will be some interesting things come out of this.

Yep that's right.
We get different types of paperwork for certain burials.
It's either a straight forward green form signed by the coroner , or a white one that is signed by the person who carried out a post-mortem.

We were told by funeral directors that it's to do with whether they'd seen a doctor prior to their death.

well if it was the man who wanted it for the best and they came to a agreement then fine but if the other man didnt want to die then he should be jailed imo.

From what's been said the two of them had come to an agreement, but then we only have one side of the story.
