Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

For fighting before and after match between Doncaster v leicester.

Doncaster versus Leicester football fight suspects held


Twelve men were arrested after fighting linked to a football match between Doncaster Rovers and Leicester City erupted at the weekend.

Police said about 20 men were involved in trouble on Hall Gate, Doncaster at about 1320 BST on Saturday.

A further 15 men were involved in a second fight that broke out on St Georges Gate at about 1620 BST.

The suspects have bailed over public order offences. Police are appealing for witnesses.

South Yorkshire Police said it was believed both incidents were linked to the football match, which took place on 1500 BST on Saturday.

Det Con Peter Muir said: "This type of behaviour is not acceptable.

"Football hooliganism is generally not a problem in Doncaster and the majority of football matches take place without any issues occurring."

they was mixed but the police dont no this cos they dont wear club shirts so our club suffer s none of them go to the rovers i no 1 of them but im not making the polices job easier
