Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

I remember from the Donny crowd at Oakwell that they didn't even sell half of that stand.

Last season we might as well have put them in the West Stand... However I Hope that isn't the case inthis match, I'd like to see Donny bring a big crowd.

We did sell half that stand , I know I suffered in it. As for selling 7000 tickets you're having a laugh aren't you ? You didn't sell out your full allocation of 2800 at the KMS...............people in glass houses and all that! Neither of our teams can attract away following at that level, fact is we are not Manure and this is NOT a cup final at Wembley.
I don't know about your lads but everyone around here is skint at the moment and 2 games a week is crippling us all. Sad Sad

Wondering about going on the Bus to this one, is there an interchange in Barnsley and is it far from the ground, otherwise it will be the train.

DRFC Barnsley v Doncaster Match Officials
Darren Deadman will be the man in charge of the South Yorkshire derby this weekend when Barnsley welcome Doncaster Rovers.

It will be his first game in charge of Barnsley since the 2005/06 season when they won 3-0 at Swindon Town.

The last time he took charge of Doncaster Rovers was earlier this season when they lost 2-1 at Newcastle United, on that occasion he showed seven yellow cards and a red to Newcastle defender khizinashvilli.

Referee: D. Deadman (Cambridgeshire)
Assistants: D.A McCallum & K.J Mattocks
Fourth official: D. Handley
