Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

I always look on the trainline but there is another one that I can't remember the name of. They tend to have cheaper fares on but it seems to depend on where you're going and when.

Just going to say, for jawdee land try spltting the journey tickets.
If you can get Northern rail for any part of the trip then its 2 for 1 or 2 for 11/2 the fare.
Darlo to Newc return is £15 return for the two. Then get a cheap transpen or other to Leeds or wherever then Northern rail again if available.
Messy but doable.
Boro to York return is£10.50 each then £York /London is posible for £20 return, saving of £50 on normal fare to london games.

Depending where your going East Coast do some decent offers managed to pack the wife off for a weekend at her sisters in London for 18 quid last month.

If your signed up for thir emails you tend to get a bit of advance notice on their cheap fares and stand more chance of getting hold of them as they tend to be limited numbers, your usally better off getting 2 single tickets

did Darlo to Edinburgh last season for £5 out and £6 back .Thornaby to darlo was nearly as much £4.20 return.
Good cheap way to go and watch a game up there.Book up a month in advance at least.
Our local evening paper do some good offers about 4 times a year with £15 return to London
