The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Prefer the yorkshirepride.net myself. The Dingles seemed to have adopted the Tykes word for their own fora i.e. Tykesmad and the other 3 are a bit of a mouthful . Are you happy with progress so far ?

I think either theprideofyorkshire.net as it is the forum name anyway or yorkshirepride.net.

Yes & No to be honest, i'm happy with the members we have they seem to be a good bunch, i just wish we could get a few more regulars, in a ideal world i'd like at least 10 regular posters from each club because that would attract more members and the forum would be constantly in use and updated with club info and fans views, but i'm really happy that people are using the forum in the first place. it could have fell flat on it's face but it seems we have a group of about 20 people from all different clubs interacting with each other in a civilised manor and that's the reason i set up this place. i knew if i got the right team of mods and at least one from each club we would be able to keep control of the place and still let people take the piss without banning people at the first sight of a bit of banter like other multi team forums tend to do, and i know we don't have that many members but i'm 100% sure if we did have a influx in members the way the site is set up now we would be able to keep problems to a minimum, i will never stop trying to improve the site but i feel i've done all i can to make the place a success now i think all i can do is try to keep promoting the site and hope people start to use the place

I still think they will come Phil, it just takes a bit of time and tweeking of the format.
The potential influx of Leeds and maybe Udders and Dull will further enhance the forum.
I too am pleased that although at times we have a lively bunch, we still manage to keep it within limits ........it's a great starting place and will eventually attract the Blades as well ( currently feeling sorry for themselves on their own Boards ) . The better one's will soon be attracted to a more diverse and ''upbeat '' board such as this. Strange that many still haven't taken up the opportunity for cross-team lively banter. It's just lack of awareness that's all.
