For me it is, i have not watched Rovers for as long as some on here, am not Doncaster born and bred but over the years i have been watching them i have to say i have seen steady improvement year on year, we have lost some excellent players like Mills and Wellens who if they had been with us this season would have gone along way to make a superb squad but we are still that without them anyway, in my early 40's by the way.. I was born in Donny and wen't to my first match in 1979. Is this the best rovers team i have seen? well in terms of "team" then yes, however there have been individual players in the past that would grace this team and make it even stronger. Could you imagine the centre of our midfield with Stock playing alongside Ian Snodin? that thought makes me slightly damp lol.

My first match was in 1966, Rovers were a fourth division club and stayed that way with a few years of exception until the drop from the League. This is undoubtedly the best team we have had in my lifetime, and I am 53. the same can't be said of the Dingles Nightmare, surely the team that got promotion to the Prem. were better?

Been to Rovers since 67/68 season and this is the best TEAM I've ever seen. However there have been great players who would have made this team i.e. Alick Jeffries, Syd Bycroft, Harry Gregg, Peter Doherty and my personal icons of yesteryear 'Big' Brendan O'Callaghan and Peter Kitchen and Ian Snodin.
