Just one question.
Well i understand that sod does not see the point in offering ben smith a new contract and decided to give gary woods a new contract instead but my real question is why has he not offered smith a new contract if he was ahead off gary woods in the pecking order for the last 2 seasons.
Maybe hes too young but you would think if he was to release one of the 2 it would be woods but what do i know.

Re: Just one question.
who knows, maybe woods has just been progressing and now sod thinks he's ready. or maybe we'll be getting another keeper in that will be better than smith but still ahead of the woods in the pecking order. wages could come into it to, there are a lot of factors.

Re: Just one question.
When we saw him play against armthorpe last year he had a brilliant game, it was when he was replaced by Ben that we conceded goals, anyway its not fare on Ben Smith to keep him sitting on the Bench he needs to get out there and find a club that will play him on a regular basis.
