Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

I'm definately going, might be up for that, will depend on what the lads are doing, there was talk of a few days in Blackpool but that's probably too expensive as I'm now unemployed etc. You did tell me about this forum months ago, about time I got on it.

Good to see you about, hope you get a job soon. will keep you informed re. any Preston coach . Btw why don't you have a run up to the Thorne and District Rovers Association meeting tomorrow at the Brook Arms in Thorne tomorrow.@ 7:00 pm all are welcome, I'm sure travel will be discussed.
Plenty to talk about now that's for sure.

Didn't say hello when I joined so.... hello. Been following and supporting [sometimes from a disitance} for over 40 years and remember the likes of Alfie Hayles and even played with Phil Robinson for a season at Brodsworth after he retired .
Living in Nottingham I miss out on local news except when I call home every now and then to visit my old Mother so sites like this are great for keeping us exiles up to speed with DRFC.
It's all kicked off over the last few days so fingers crossed for at least play-offs

Welcome to the forum ravenrover, this is a damn good forum. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as the VSC.
It's less insular but there are some really good posters from the supporters of other 'White Rose' clubs.
I bet you get plenty of laughs living amongst the Scum eh ? Laughing
