South Yorkshire Police have us to pass on the following message to the fans who are travelling to Tuesday's game at Barnsley (7.45pm).
"South Yorkshire Police wish you a safe and enjoyable fixture. Safety is of paramount importance and we seek your support to help achieve this.
"To assist you, we will endevour to escort your coach to the Football Club away end car park adjacent to the ground.
"Refreshments are available at the ground. For your reference please note the bar will not be open for this fixture.
"The Metrodome Leisure Centre is ideally situated next to away parking, with a large capacity and is available for your use. Metrodome management inform us that refreshments and hot food will be available. Sky Sports News will also be shown on a large screen. It will help with the overall safety and free flow of the fixture if you could consider using this local and accessible facility.
"Please make your way to the away turnstiles that are situated to the left-hand side of the ground as you approach. Turnstiles will be open from 6pm. Please act responsibly and enjoy the fixture.
"At the conclusion of the match, please make your way directly to your coach. All coaches will leave together when full and we will again endevour to escort all coaches back to the M1 Motorway.
"South Yorkshire police will be working in partnership with Barnsley Football Club and other agencies. There is a significant police and club steward operation to deal with those attending the fixture in a drunken state. Please drink sensibly. Drunkenness, violent behaviour, Pitch incursions or Racist behaviour will not be tolerated. Positive action will be taken against any offenders. Please don't spoil the fixture for yourself and others.
"Thank you for your co-operation. Have a safe journey to and from Barnsley and enjoy the fixture."

Think am on to something here...getting chain pubs like Spoonies to build a boozer on/in the away end for away fan's only on match days, they'll make good money away lads happy and o.b. happy

Off M1 at JUNC 37 turn left towards Barnsley come to a big cross roads with traffic lights stright on then you'll come to KFC roundabout aprouch it in the right hand lane 4th exit on to west way stay in left hand lane past Morrisons supermarket at roundabout turn left down side of shopping centre, turn left at junc big car park with green cabin on your right, park in there and walk down to the ground its free to park at night and not too bad to get away from after the game lots of people will be walking to ground so just follow them
