Unfortunately this shows the HUGE gap between the 2 top divisions. A second string nay possibly 3rd. string Manure team took the piss at times.

More money must filter down otherwise the game is fooked, unless you have £20-30 million to plough into a Championship team then forget competing at the top level. This is not the way it should be !! Mad
I know that Blackpool were an exception to the rule btw, that was a 'one-off' and they are back to the 2nd. level.

Leeds never looked to be in the game , they had virtually no chances of any merit despite 'huffing and puffing' all night. These Premiership players are simply stronger, fitter, and moreover better even at this level.
One final point , what the hell is Owen doing at 5th. choice striker, why the fook are these players being kept at the top level when they could be plying their trade on a weekly basis at a lower level in a more competitive league . Money again ! Sad

As much as I wanted Owen to get his hat trick tonight, has anyone considered the fact that if he hadn't jumped ship from Newcastle when they got relegated he might be far higher up the pecking order there?

Nothing's going to change however much fans complain about the gulf and to be fair there's only that gulf amongst the top few premiership teams. I dare say Leeds would have looked far better against Wigan or West Brom or Swansea

I didn't think Leeds offered much going forward though, it reminded me of watching us play Tranmere

As for the Brighton match, I hope one of the Leeds players sorts Dunk and it ends a draw

Vikki , I wished those top teams would bugger off and make their own super league and leave the proper footy to the rest of us.

Totally agree with your post though and would happily see both a draw and a red card for the t**t.

If anybody has this months FourFourTwo, look at the Borussia Dortmund article. Something like that, could save English football. If you don't have it, I suggest it, as its a decent read.

Are they suggesting that a Super League will sort out football as a whole or just in this country Shem ? In what way, do you have a link please ?
