This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Any new players they try to sign will want round about the same wage as Rooney as well as the players already there wanting more!! Which in the end will means higher ticket prices cos they'll want to sign top players so they'll have to pay top wages!! Its a joke. Soon be time to watch teams like Frickley where money is'nt such an issue................. yet!!!

All the new players they sign are young uns who have to prove the sens and the older big ereners will soon be leaving the club freeing up the wage budget

Heard that a couple of players had already been knocking on the managers door asking for a pay rise, Ferdinand was one of them i understand...theres nothing causes unrest like money..

It's called eating your own foot LL, they won't be content until they have sent every club to the wall. Sky money soon won't be able to cover these outrageous wages and the novelty of oligarths chucking in their mega-millions will soon wear off.

Sadly yes , the top 2 maybe even 3 Divisions are already living way beyond their means except in only a few cases. Without gift support from Directors most (incl. my own) teams would already be out of business.
Action is required very urgently along the 'German' model.

Thing is though i can't see action ever happening, look at St.Pauli in Germany and no club here will those principles will get to the topflight here, FsCUM maybe? i can't see it happening purely because SKY would never let it happen.
