Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

In hospital tomorrow having disc replacement surgery in my back hopefully home Friday but won't be very mobile to say the least Sad (might be back online depending how I feel)
Make sure Rovers hammer Millwall as I won't be there

What is a even more frightening thought is the fact I could be back at work after xmas affraid its only been 7 months on the sick so far

Well then back home, basically going to be laid up for 6-8 weeks then should be ok and for all you technophobes out there 2 discs decompressed a lump of extra bone cut off and a Wallis ligament implanted (look it up if you really want) in theatre a bit longer than anticipated 2.5 hours due to this lump of bone which had caused a lot of the problems.

Did something happen down at the KMS yesterday while I was akip Very Happy

Damn right the phsio down there even pulled the wife aside and told her no lifting, minimum walking at the moment I'm allowed to get up, go to the loo, lay down, get up, eat something, lay down I'm sure you get the drift Smile Mind you walking is a bit of a technical problem at the moment anyway.
You should have heard the swearing when the phsio was trying to get me stood up first time Smile

Backs not too bad really, although got terrible sciatica down one leg (pins + needles, pain, numbness) consultant thinks it will go away eventually although its always possible there could be permanant nerve damage, at the moment its just wait and see, back with him Thursday, starting again with the physioterrorist tomorrow as well.
Can't sit or stand too long still, not allowed to drive, so can't see me down the KMS this weekend. But no doubt the wife and kids will give me a report.
