They come in dribs and drabs but don't seem to want to join in...not alot we can do about it, maybe best trying to get people we know to join, more chance of them taking part, its still buisier then our mad board...

They are indeed with only 25 members, shame is we have potentially over 300 but only 20 or so are inclined to post. However they are interested enough to read it as guests..................a reet conundrum.

Yep I have always enjoyed this site and usually like most posters that are inclined to use it. It needs only a tiny bit of moderation from time to time and you get an 'inside' view on other teams from their supporters as well as the usual non-footy stuff.
It's ideal, not heavy or political, usually light-hearted banter between folks who have much in common and not usually the team that each supports. We don't have clics and that's the main attraction for me. All the things that members of other Boards complain about seem to be absent from here...................time yet for others to realise what they are missing. Perhaps they actually like all that nonsense really and that's why they have not bought into this forum yet.
Some may even feel that they are being disloyal to their own club's forum, a strange idea but possibly true.

They are strange sites, you can only post upto a certain time and are heavily moderated, they are run by the BBC and have there own quite strict rules..

I'll be honest, its a lot (not all) of the people who post on there that get my goat far more than the rules - they seem to be in the main a bunch of people still havent accepted O'Driscoll's here and Heffernan's gone etc

Yes there were some great games played on a fantastic pitch and some great Championship years but I don't buy the 'it was a shit'ole but it was our shit'ole mentality. I've seen both, felt both and there is no comparison.
The manager, team, and ground (we use) is by far the best we have ever had.

What really got my goat was after the postponement of the match was announced yesterday some Barnsley fan went on grumbling about us being a 'Tinpot club' and a couple of our fans agreed with him. The moan was that Dave Morris was useless, he should have hired a snowplough, gritter etc. Wasn't that the plan anyway? But what point spending all that money if it was still going to get called off 24 hours later?

Are Hull, Portsmouth, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Utd (with undersoil heating) tinpot clubs

TBH I don't care what fans of other clubs call us, but when its your own fans chucking the teddy out of the pram and slagging the club unnecessarily it make me angry
