Cold Snap
- 13 in thorne last night....just been to the car and the lock is already freezing....i hope they have left the heating on in my office at work tonight...feel sorry for the lads though that factory is like a fridge at the best of times...

A bit of lubricating oil in the lock will prevent icing at low temps but -13 I don't think so.

Next couple of days forecast to get a tad warmer with the cold weather coming back with a vengeance next week.

Changed my supplier afew weeks ago EDF charging 7p a unit now with EON charging 4p. Electric 1p cheaper.

I'm with British Gas on energy smart so pay the actual bill of monthly, at least i won't have a massive quartly bill landing on the mat..

Bloody freezing tonight....- 7 already and getting colder by the hour..thank god i haven't got work tommorow it was bad enough this morning trying to clear the windscrean at 4.45 in the morning...well and truly fed up of it now, i thought last years winter was bad enough..

Think i'm coming down with it as well...just in time for christmas....i've been leaving the heating on all night on low, someone suggested it saying it prevented alot of boiler breakdowns in extreme weather...so far so good without tempting fate.. hope you get it sorted soon..

Went to work last night, -10C and got diverted due to some sort of incident, coming home this morning -11C and found out what the incident was, a burst water main, the road was iced over for about 50 yards, much warmer now only -4C.

woke up every 5 minutes last night shivering just as i got to sleep i'd shiver myself awake, went to work first thing this morning but came home ill my boss lent me a heater to try and un freeze the pipe outside it worked a treat got the heating on turned it up full blast got a warm bath took some lemsip got in bed at 9 this morning and only just woke up sweating
