Ipswich game
DRFC Rovers struggling to beat the weather
Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan feels the club are going to have to work very hard to get Tuesday`s game with Ipswich Town on.
Rovers managed to get Friday night`s game on with Middlesbrough by covering the pitch to keep out the frost in sub zero temperatures.
The weather shows no sign of improving between now and the new year and Ryan believes the club are going to struggle to get the Ipswich game on unless the weather dramatically improves.
Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Ryan said, "Our home game is on Tuesday, December 28 against Ipswich Town and, right now, I would say they will have it all on to get that game played - but it will not be for the want of trying."
Rovers have already lost one home game this month against Barnsley and they will be desperate not to lose their second home Christmas fixture in successive years.
Last year the game with Leicester City was called off due to a frozen pitch and was eventually played in February.
