This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Barnsley leave Robins reeling after budget cut

Barnsley boss Mark Robins is reeling from a budget shock that is threatening his position at the Oakwell club.

The ex-Manchester Untied striker has been told to slash his payroll for next season as the Yorkshire club struggle for cash – and the demand may push him towards the exit door.

Robins was hailed as Barnsley’s saviour when he joined the club and gave them an instant lift, but in recent months they have been among the Championship also-rans.

Now the club’s money men have told Robins to make savage savings at a time when he is struggling to put a squad together for next season, it raises big questions about his future.

COVENTRY CITY want to bring in Barnsley boss Mark Robins as their new boss, according to national speculation.

Mirror Football reports that the Sky Blues have identified the former Rotherham United boss as the man to replace Aidy Boothroyd full-time.

Chief scout Andy Thorn has been a huge success as caretaker manager, overseeing a change in form which has helped City almost assure their Championship status for another year.

But apparently the Sky Blues board have been looking at more experienced candidates to step into the Ricoh Arena hot-seat.


And they have reportedly been impressed by former Manchester United striker Robins' track record, managing clubs with limited funds.

Cryne always said from the start that if the right person or party be it foreign or not came in to buy the club he would sell as long as they could prove it would be run in the right way and not left up shit creek. I really would'nt worry to much he will only sell if it's in the best interest of the club!

I was away on a training course yesterday, the presenter was a Sky Blue who reckoned he was in the know, they are deep in shite as well and might not make the end of season.

Boro stated today that Gibbo is not thinking about admin here, then ST renewals drop through the door.
