Next Season

Ok so what needs to change people keep telling me we will be in champ as it will take a miracle for Sheff Utd to overtake us i was pretty confident last week after the Dingle match but there still is doubt there now . Ok assuming we are in the Championship what needs to change as we do not want to be in this position next season.

We need to react to injury situations far sooner, cut out 'dead' wood and try and bring in some good youngsters oh..............and hang on to those good players we currently have.
Finally we need to look at our complete training regime so that the events of last season NEVER occur on anywhere near the same scale again!
Finally we need to shed the mentality of 'little old Donny and we're only a pub team' etc..............this is a professional league and we need to gear up to it in a professional manner in ALL areas of our activities especially Marketing .

But Sod says the majority of injuries actually happen during the game, the Hernias which we seem to get alot of seem to be down to the Pitch but that ain't gonna change, we will hopefully have Billy fit and still with us in the summer but need to stop signing players who come to us with problems...Brooker springs to mind...the youth team seem to have been dire the last couple of seasons so not sure if we will take any of the current crop on..i think we need to look whats going wrong there as well if we are looking to them to provide us with upcoming players..we have to stop kidding ourselves, we are a league one team with two or three championship players, sod himself said that and it is always gonna be a struggle, staying in the championship alone is an achievement...i honestly believe we will stay up this season but if the worst did come to the worst it won't mean the world is coming to an end and i would look forward to the new season ...its never gonna be easy for us as we aren't a fashionable club i think we should look at what the club has done and achieved with pride and lets enjoy the ride wherever that takes us...onwards and upwards..hopefully..
