The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

I know it would mean us starting with a away game again but would be nice to be the first team to visit their new ground..

It will be interesting to see how Greer plays in the championship this coming season,I know a few felt we let him go to early and injuries seemed to go against him being retained/or offered a new contract. If he struggles this season though it will show Rovers was right to release him.

I have hated this club since I was a kid in London, woken up at 5:00 in the morning, hours of travelling and a shitty rainy day on a stony beach when we eventually arrived there.
Totally irrational I know in view of their problems with getting their ground approval but place= team, hopefully after 45+ years I should have got over this but no...........I'm working on it though. I have followed their fora (I don't know why) and it appears they are going to sweep everything away in their path when they come back next season to the npower Championship.........I hope we piss on them for old time's sake.
I know but we are all the products of our experiences and unfortunately I have attached this club to the town that I detested..................I' will have to work hard on this one!! . Sad

No thanks they will be well up for winning their 1st game at their new ground, just like we were. Rather visit them mid season after the reality of the championship has hit them and they maybe carrying injuries etc.
