Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
aye, im happy too. Basically I said because of the history/romance of it, I'd only take the trip to Brighton if we had them on the first game of the season, and i've promised the missus we can make a weekend of it and stay in a BnB or something, which will be nice because we don't get away very often.
also, i'd love to know if this happened purely by chance or if one of, or both of, the clubs requested it.

Take it you haven't priced up the hotels in Brighton for that weekend yet?

I won't tell her just in case it's the IL grade where she was 16 in the year. Btw I sent the text to Bri 1st. thing this morning, I want to give you your money towards your Brighton trip.
Do you think such a weekend would be suitable for Savannah too or just for adults.......be honest please ( you always are silly comment!).

Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
We'll have to sort out a meeting for the money then
I'd imagine there's plenty for Savannah and Sue to do whilst you're at the football and I'm sure there's family pubs. But its all looking very pricey

I was thinking the same, it's a long long way to go there and back in 1 day. Perhaps we can sneak Pete into a hotel eh ?

Well that should make it cheaper. I looked at Travelodge this morning - almost booked then I found out cheeky buggers would take money immediately even on a flexible rate so scrapped that one. I used to stay in the Hilton in Brighton for about £90 for a double room and Breakfast and it wasn't that long ago

If Steve is going perhaps we can book one of those dormitory things, that's the cheap way and after all you just want to get your head down for the night not line the hotel's pockets.

Re: BRIGHTON AWAY
Bloody hell it's the wrong time to book a hotel, regardless of reasonable expense I'm struggling and have spent the last 1 or so searching. What about Hove and travelling would that be more flexible do you think ?
Are we thinking staying over on the Satdi night only ?
