Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Barnsley FC given permission by Rochdale AFC to speak to Keith Hill.

The Board can confirm the press release issued by Rochdale AFC that Barnsley FC have been given permission to speak to Keith Hill regarding our First Team Manager vacancy.

We are still in the process of qualifying our shortlist and seeking permission to speak is the normal protocol for interviewing employees of other clubs.

This development should not be taken by our fans to mean an imminent announcement of an appointment.

Yeah i'm well happy with it but its a load of Bollox there just stalling untill tuesday after bank holiday then there going to give the youth team/ reserves manager the job

Utd have a man lined up but not heard anymore will be speaking to the bloke who told me tonight so i'll see what he sez.

31st of may is our season ticket deadline day so we'll get a manager the day after the reserve team coach

I e-mailed the club as soon as Wobins went. The e-mail said: Put my name darn for managers job, i only want a grand a week and am a reyt motivator!!

I have not heard from the club as of yet but am sure its just a matter of time!!
