Bristol City...
So what does everyone think about Saturday....if we play like we did last night i can see us getting a result, Bristol have not had the best of starts either...i will go with a 1-1 draw..although its good to see Hayter back and if he plays he could just get us the winner...

Re: Bristol City...
Doncaster Rovers and Bristol City go head to head at the Keepmoat and we look at the previous history between the two at Doncaster.
Saturday will be the twenty-first meeting between the two sides. Doncaster have won 9, Bristol City 4 and there have been 8 draws.
The first ever meeting between the two sides was a Second Division clash in the 1901/02 season when Doncaster won 3-0.
Bristol City enjoyed their first win in the 1904/05 season when they left Belle Vue with a 2-0 win.
It was over 50 years before the two sides met again when Rovers won 3-2 in the 1955/56 season.
The two sides have met six times this century, Rovers have won three, two have been drawn and City have won one.
When the two sides met last season, Rovers had to rely on a last minute penalty from Billy Sharp to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw.
1901/02 Doncaster 3-0 Bristol City
1902/03 Doncaster 0-0 Bristol City
1904/05 Doncaster 0-2 Bristol City
1955/56 Doncaster 3-2 Bristol City

Re: Bristol City...
Apart from about fifteen minuites in the second half we were the best side by miles, Bristol were the worst team to have played us this season and deserved nothing, if hayter had got that penalty then the end result would have been right...oh well at least we got that monkey of our backs and only need 49 points for safety...

Re: Bristol City...
Anyway now we have a break so we can try and get some of the players back obviously we did not play as good as Tuesday (as what people said around me). Talking of the Penalty James was 2 foot of his line and the ref did not pull him up on it

Saw Mason after the game and he seemed to be walking ok, Barnes had a strapping round his ankle after the game and Billy still had his boot on..but the break will do us good...

Which is why i refer to my summery of the match i feel the players burnt themselves out busting a gut against L**ds any other team at there best today would have slaughtered us today. Just my opinion of course

But i think with Billy and Mason in the squad we would have taken them to pieces...we were just lacking that something up front...same old story really...
