Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Yeah sad but they got a nice accolade in been granted Royal status as a thankyou...hopefully it will continue with the same dignity...the people of Wooton Bassett should be proud...

They were saying on the news when they are repatriated through Brize Norton the bodys will be taken on the ring road as opposed to through the town, bloody disgusting if true

no but its the truth, as soon as they land the MOD want them to be examined, and given back to the family's the same day, so they are whisking them off to Oxford to be cut up and checked over by the doctor then they're been took to a service back in the town before being laid to rest

Right its doing mi nut in ive been trying to think of the word for the coroner cutting people up and checking to see how they died,

15 minutes ive been racking mi brains ive heard this story 3 times today on 5 live and each time they've said it and i still cant think

Just seen the full bit on the news apperently theres proper facilities for families and a memorial just outside the base so perhaps not as bad as the other article made out
