Re: On a serious note..
January will certainly be interesting!!!!
I'm still willing to give it all chance and while Saunders hasn't got a track record at this level he still was a decent player and he knows the score, but I know a good player does not always make a good manager.
Same as in the old days a good bus driver would never make an Inspecter it was always the crap drivers

I'll be honest NR I don't care about us playing pretty passing football - with no disrespect to O'Driscoll it wasn't the answer to a lot of our problems. What I want to see is effective football and if that means more direct and route one then so be it. Unfortunately we seem to be unable to play any kind of football based on yesterday's performance. Pass the parcel or musical statues would be more apt
And as for the fans blaming the players and saying get rid, well they need to think am I saying that because the alternative is admitting we have an inexperienced, tactically naive manager in place who cannot (on yesterday's showing) get the best out of the existing squad or the signings he wanted
I am not saying Saunders won't make a good manager, i feel he will but I feel he needs time and we weren't the club to cut his league teeth on so to speak. But then when you approach out of work, Championship managers first of all and get no-where you either have to accept there is something wrong with the plan or you have to take what you can get
