Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

Hmmmm not too sure about this 1, he's had 1 good season in L1 and Charlie Austin made a lot of those goals for him, he was never prolific before Austin partnered him and hasn't been since. Take away that season and he averages a goal every 5 games in L1 which isn't very prolific.
At championship level he averages a goal every 11 games Shocked and Leeds fans ive spoken to regard him as garbage.

We ain't in the championship, he scored 11 goals the season before, and was credited in assisting Simon cox's many goals and helping him.
With regards Austin I'm sure he did help him but to score 29 goals is a great achievement who was the last player to score that many goals for us????

Like i said apart from 1 season he's not been prolific. 11 in 42 isn't exactly world breaking in L1, i mean even JJ Price & Lewis Guy got 8 goals each in 35 and 40 matches in our last season in L1!!!! and Heffs goals to game record was better too.

But we don't have any if them anymore, we're desperate for players and can't be moaning about someone with his record when we have no money.

Who's moaning? i said i'm not sure about him as he isn't prolific. FFS all you seem to want to do is argue with anyone with a different opinion or anyone that thinks saunders is a 2 bit manager.
