Works Christmas Partys Drunken_smilie Wetherspoons next saturday night in Chesterfield, got a free room for the night and free drinks all night plus a buffet, in the past it has been a cracking night especially as last year my mate was so pissed he had the works manager in a head lock in the end he saw the funny side before eventually been thrown out, should be hitting the streets of chesterfield around 6pm before the main event really look forward to it,seems to get better every year. It must be good i am missing the Derby away match for it.

My boyfriends is tomorrow night. I'm really really looking forward to it as normally it's and excellent night full of good humour and lots of fun. Normally we go for a meal somewhere and enjoy the party but this year we have a room at the hotel so I get the feeling that we shall be in the bar most of the night Laughing

Casino night for a handful of us, dinner first, then down to the tables. Not my idea of a great night out, but I keep a tight budget, and usually end up having a good time.

nothing for our office. Government dont allow it. We were offered a buffet at work but most told them not to bother because they had dropped the half day xmas flexi shopping leave.
Dont know why they moan, we get an extra day anyway at xmas compared to private sector.

That doesn't sound like a good Xmas do to me Wakey, mind you the last place I worked we didn't get our Xmas do till the middle of January and all we got was a buffet and £5 worth of drinks vouchers. Bearing in mind we were in a hotel that got us about 1 drink!!! Then the place before that they never even bothered doing one I don't think. Mind you they just might not have told some of us Laughing Just to remind you all I shall not be on at all the afternoon/evening/tomorrow morning as it is my boyfriends Christmas party tonight. I'll do my best to get on after my hangover tomorrow or possibly during it so I'll apologise now if I don't seem up to speed with things or if my spelling is worse than normal! lol! lol!

Enjoy your night, its ours tommorow same as yours really , everyone is given 6 tickets for drinks but in the past they have handed them out like confetti and i have never had to pay for a round all night...there are some greedy twats though, i have seen people with bottles in there pockets not that they can drink them all just that they are free.. I'm afraid that is inevitable, mind a good breakfast in the morning will soon sort me out, just to add to this thread a little we all hear storys of people making a fool of themselves so have you any storys to tell, heres mine a couple of years ago a friend of mine who likes a drop or two got totally blathered and went to the toilet, he was wearing new jeans and could not get the buttons undone, in the end he gave up and just allowed nature to take its course by which i mean he just stood there and pissed himself, after which he returned to the bar and stood there with steam coming of him, i kid you not he really did that the dirty get, with a bit of luck we hope to get him in a state again so god knows what he will do this year... Lol that's well amusing. Don't think anything like that has happened although a few years ago someone got their boobs out in the middle of a ratehr posh hotel after a few glasses of wine, they never went there again funnily enough!
I hope if you are ill Yorkie that you can sort it all out, I had to sort it out last weekend, a hour and a half sleep was not fun!

Had a pretty good time last night actually. Despite it being £3.85 A Pint, £4.05 A Bottle & £4.20 a Mixer.

Managed to get hold of 10 Free Drinks vouchers so only ended up spending £20.00 including my train fare.

Buffet was cracking, Sparw Ribs, Chicked Wings, all sorts, not just the usual mouldy sandwiches. Shanme to see half of it wasted, even a fat lad like me couldn't finish it off.

Didn't actually have a hangover this morning either, Managed to get to work on time and feel great. Gonna go have a steak for dinner aswell. Beauty!

Yours tonight aint it Yorkie? Hope all goes well.
