Sat here thinking about what would be the strongest Rovers side. Mine is below, but in making this selection I have not included Brooker as I have never seen him play and therefore have no idea what he is like.

Sullivan
-------------
O'Connor
Martis
Shackell
Chambers
-------------
Coppinger
Woods
Stock
Oster
------------
Sharp
Sheils

Shiels or Hayter was a close run thing, but believe Shiels is a better finisher.
Could always revert to a 5 man midfield with Shiels dropping back and Stocks filling the holding role in front of the back four.

Wrong side and wrong player to drop Pete. Despite his vast improvement this year the better right back is O Connor rather than Chambers, the best left back is Roberts not McDaid. Close calls I know but we need left footed players particularly in defence. I don't believe we play 4-4-2 anyway, we play 4-3-2-1. Three midfielders would have to be Woods Stock and Oster, but it is so interchangeable with Wilson and I reckon Hayter would fit in there too. The two are definitely Copps and Shiels, but Hayter fits the role too. Up front we only have Billy left. The other one has gone and I wouldn' trust Guy to have the ability to fill Billy's toe end of a boot. that is the worry for the next season.

Jimmy is extremely good down the wing though, and a better defender, he doesn't do much of that now as a central defender role but his crossing and speed makes him a winner in the play off between the two for me. I am happy for either to be playing though.
