Will he go. SOD that is to the blades i hope not but people on the Blades mad seem to think an approach has been made and been successful.

Listening to Trevor Birch on the radio it did sound like it might be Sod there interested in, will he go god only knows i hope not but can see it happening,i think the next few days will be interesting..and stressfull...

There was a meeting at the keepmoat yester day between SOD JR AND THE 2 MONEY MEN and iv been told its about the future and what SOD needs and he told them we need 2 centre backs so if he is talking like that then he will stay and they s u fc have no budget for players unless they sell

Exactly - apparently the reports that Sheff Utd had made an official approach to Rovers on Real Radio had come from a 'Donny fan'

If worst happens we will move on, just hope we get loads of compo and a clause that says hands off our players

It's easy to put two and two together and come up with five. SOD is in the vicinity, does a good job in a financially restrained environment and a move to the Blades could be seen as a step-up as they have historically 'been' assessed as a bigger club than Rovers.

However, add into this pot that the Blades are massively in debt, would have even less money 'available' than Donny and the knowledge that the fans at United are not known for their patience and are notoriously demanding, I can't see the advantages of him wanting to move there.

Having said all that, I’d like to see a statement from the board squashing any connection before this gathers any credence.

O’Driscoll has a similar ‘transfer fee’ in his contract."

Paper (Mirror) talk when Burnley came knocking it was a million I wouldn't call 300,000 similar by any strech and I can't see Sean's "get out" being any less now

Exactly....if they want to try and get Sod it will cost them alot more then 300K that is assuming he even wants to go there...

He will stay, what they have to offer both short and long term would not meet his requirements.
SO'D is not totally motivated by salary alone, he will look at the 'big' picture. Sheff U aren't a blank canvass to work on more like a scene from Picasso's Guernica!
