The Yorkshire Football Forums
Hello and welcome to THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE.

This forum was set up on the 5th of September 2009 in order to give Yorkshire football fans a place to come and interact with fellow fans of all 10 league clubs in our county.

We operate a controlled environment, with each team having their own forum and moderator, to ensure everyone has equal rights. The main reason this forum was set up, was to allow its members the freedom to express themselves without the restraints some other 'multi-club' forums adopt.

However, abuse of other members will not be tolerated. Please keep discussions civil. If you are not prepared to behave appropiately, please don't register. Friendly banter between rival clubs is encouraged, personal abuse towards other members will result in a permanent ban.

Some sections of this forum are restricted to members, so to enjoy the full benefits of the site please register. Registered users also enjoy this website without the advertisements at the top of the page.

THANK YOU for visiting THE PRIDE OF YORKSHIRE and we hope to see you posting here in the future.

Barnsley boss Mark Robins wants England under-21 goalkeeper Frank Fielding to boost his play-off mission.

Robins is ready to raid Blackburn for Fielding and seal a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Fielding, 22, impressed on loan at Derby earlier this term and Robins wants to complete a swoop in the New Year.

Lincoln City may lose Kern Miller to Barnsley - Tilson

Miller has not played a first team game for Lincoln for 18 months
Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says they could lose defender Kern Miller to Championship side Barnsley in January.
The 19-year-old's six-month contract with the Imps expires this month.
Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "We're in the process of offering him a two-and-a-half year deal but he's been training for a couple of days at Barnsley.
"He's out of contract in December which isn't fantastic for us. At the moment he's keeping his options open but he could well go to Barnsley."
Tilson added: "Since I've come in he's done well which is why I've offered him a new contract but we'll have to see.
"If Barnsley do take him we could get compensation and a sell-on clause [in the deal] but that's more out of courtesy because they don't need to give us anything."
The Imps youth-team product, whose only first-team appearance came in April 2009, is currently sidelined with a broken jaw sustained in an incident in Blackpool in the early hours of 12 December which Lancashire Police are investigating.

Don't think he will have any future with Rovers...think it was a agreement that could be terminated by either party and i can see Rovers doing just that in January...
